For my Fine Arts Component, I did a task which I really enjoyed, and looked forward to a lot. What inspired me to do this certain aspect, was my journey into South Africa. It was a really amazing experience, and what inspired me were the people. Not just the South African people, but everyone I saw. Everyone there, was somehow showing there support for their team and country. Many different people, from all over the world, were together shouting for their teams, on the streets, at the games, in shopping malls and everywhere else. It was a really amazing feeling, to be with so many different people, and every one was so friendly. For example, I was wearing a Holland shirt one day, and heaps of people commented, some shouting with me and others smiling but saying wrong team at the same time. I put a lot of effort into these sculptures. I used a quick drying clay, and acrylic paint. Using the clay was reasonably hard, and somewhat frustrating. However, once the sculptures began to look smooth and realistic, I began to paint, which I really enjoyed. Try and guess who these sculptures support... |
